First Friday with Jeanette Rankin Peace Center & The Missoula Peace Quilters

Part of the Month of Welcome Presented by Soft Landing Missoula

Kick off The Month of Welcome with a creative and community-focused First Friday at the Jeanette Rankin Peace Center! In partnership with the Missoula Peace Quilters, this gathering highlights the spirit of Welcoming Week, a nationwide celebration of inclusive, connected communities.

During the evening, guests are invited to help create squares that will later be pieced together into a donation quilt. No experience is needed, whether you’ve never touched a sewing machine or you’re a skilled quilter, all are welcome to join, learn, and have fun! Skilled quilters and community members will be on hand to assist newcomers, making this a perfect chance to try something new while sharing stories and building friendships.
