“A Taste of Eritrea” is Saturday, Dec. 9 at Burns Street Bistro!

Join Soft Landing Missoula and Eritrean chef Negasi Weldense Gebreyesus for our first Soft Landing Supper Club, “A Taste of Eritrea” at the Burns Street Bistro!

The menu will feature traditional Eritrean items like Injera, Doro Wat, Atkit, and more! Rooted in warmth and spice, Eritrean food is full of flavor. Varying according to region of
the country, traditional foods include stews, wholesome meats and vegetables. Eritrean
culture and cuisine are best-shared family style, in community. Instead of utensils, enjoy
the hands-on elements of using injera, a traditional bread, to scoop up your next bite.

This event will be served “family style”; it is $40 per person.

Reservations for this special event are limited and are required. Call Burns Street Bistro at 406-543-0719 to make your reservation today! We are sure it will sell out quickly!

what is this new “soft landing supper club”?

Through Soft Landing Supper Club, we hope to share the incredible culinary talent of some of Missoula’s newest neighbors, who bring rich traditions and flavor to our community, and offer it in love.

Every Monthly Supper Club will feature a different region of the world, highlighting a chef from the refugee community, in collaboration with local restaurants of Missoula. Proceeds from Supper Club will directly support the guest chef and Soft Landing Missoula.

We are grateful to the refugees of our community for their willingness to share their culture with us. A very special thank you to Burns St. Bistro for offering their kitchen, creative collaboration and guidance in hosting our first Monthly Supper Club.

In a world often divided, we believe it is United We Eat!
